Telehealth Visits in Export, PA
Video visits for psychiatric care follow-ups, without the drive.
Telehealth visits are available at Tranquil Tides Psychiatry for psychiatric care. You meet with your provider by video instead of coming into the office.
Video works well for follow-up care: checking how a medication is doing, adjusting a plan, or keeping up with visits during a week when getting to Export is hard.
Some visits are better in person. Spravato (esketamine) treatment is given in the office rather than by video, and your provider will say so if an in-person visit makes more sense for a psychiatric care visit as well.
A telehealth visit works like any video call: you will need a private space and a device with a camera and microphone. We will let you know what to expect before your appointment.

Can my first visit be a telehealth visit?
Sometimes, depending on what you are coming in for. Use the contact form and we will tell you whether starting by video makes sense in your situation.
Do I need special software?
No. A phone, tablet, or computer with a camera and microphone is enough. We will let you know what you need to join before your visit, and you can send a message through the contact form if anything is confusing.
Can medication be prescribed during a telehealth visit?
In many cases, yes. Certain medications come with rules that call for an in-person visit, and your provider will tell you if that applies to what you are taking.
